Policies

Minimum order of $100 may be required depending on items desired.  Open to flat rate pricing based on project, needs, and budget, so please tell me your budget and I will do what I can to help!  Please email to check for availability and also feel free to ask for any items you do not see here, often we can find items for you or may have something that is not listed on the site.  Renters must pay in full electronically or in cash upon pickup of the item(s).

LIABILITY:

The renter agrees to be an insurer of the items and to take full responsibility and assume all risk for the rented items for the entire period they are away from Proppins Closet (Samantha Shoffner). Proppins Closet assumes no obligation of liability in connection with our props. We are released from any liability in any event, for any loss injury, or damage directly or consequently arising out of the use or inability to use our props. The Renter agrees to be responsible for the safe and proper use of all items.  Electronics and Weapons must be stored in a lockbox or safe overnight and when not used during the run of the show. Renter insures that props will remain with the show at the theatre, filming site or other location and not be taken home by Actors or Staff.  

DAMAGE AND REPLACEMENT COSTS:

Proppins Closet reserves the right to charge the Renter cleaning, damage, and replacement fees. Damage consists of the following, but not limited to, cigarette burns, permanent markers, pens, makeup, glue, paint, food or drink residue, rips, tears, breaks, cracks, and any damage to electronics.  Liquid damage to working electronics will result in full damage replacement cost and Renter must notify Proppins Closet of any spills immediately. The Renter is responsible for taking care of the items and returning them clean. Props are not to be altered in any way. The Renter agrees to pay the full cost for any damage to or loss of Proppins Closet’s property while in possession and control of same. Proppins Closet reserves the right to charge the Renter the fair market price value, as determined by Proppins Closet, of any damaged or unreturned props. Proppins Closet will notify the Renter within 72 hours of any damages in writing and quote the damage repair or replacement cost. Clients will have 7 days to remit payment to Proppins Closet from the date of billing.
